Sequoia Kim

Sequoia Kim is the Strategic Operations Lead at the Centre for Media, Technology and Democracy. Previously, she was an Associate Producer on Machines Like Us, a Globe and Mail podcast exploring the far-reaching implications of AI and emerging technologies. She holds a BA in Political Science and Philosophy from McGill University, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Tribune, McGill’s leading print newspaper. She has also interned with CKUT 90.3 FM, CityNews Montreal, and the Mile End Community Mission. Sequoia is passionate about storytelling, building an inclusive and equitable technological future, and bringing more diverse voices into conversations about our shared future.
