Mika Desblancs-Patel

Mika is a data engineer at MEO. He received his masters degree in Cognitive Science from the University of Edinburgh and his BA in Computer Science & Philosophy at McGill University. He previously completed research on twitter bans of popular accounts for his masters thesis and co-wrote a book chapter on political bias in YouTube’s recommendation system. He aims to continue exploring the use of computational methods for large scale social media research.
